  1. Why is Daisy still with Tom, even though she knows he is having an affair?
  2. What experince in Nick's past life has led him to believe that all women are dishonest? 
  3. Is Nick's true cardinal virtue, honesty?
  4. Why does Nick doubt Gatsby story of his life?
  5. Why hasn't Nick broken off the engagment already, instead of toying with that girl's poor heart?

    5. Probably because he doesn't want to hurt her even then by stringing her along he is hurting her more than ever

    3. Nick is not truly honest. He lies to himself int believing so, but throughout the first four chapters, several instances occur where Nick is not completely honest.
